Did you ever imagine these stuffy little bears lock in a kiss?

They did.

Dale David, Dolf Cancio and Julie Taņada say that this idea started when a common friend sent a pair of bears from the States for a girl here in Manila last Valentine's Day. "So Dale and I met this girl and while they were playing with the bears, the 'what ifs' surfaced," narrates Julie. "What if these bears kiss? And what if they get locked in their kisses?"

And so their cozy little company, "KisSabayHug Co." came up with their very first Bearry Match Collection - five pairs named according to their outfits. "Bearry Cool" wearing bathing suits, "Bearry Cute" with matching denim outfits, "Bearry Fresh" in their bathrobes, "Bearry Game" togged up in sports gear and "Bearry Sleepy" dressed in pajamas. Each pair carries witty, corny, sweet and funny messages that correspond to the bears' names, such as "Coolang ang lahat ng bears sa mundo to show how much I love you," and "I love this game! I love you (parinig)."

These kissing huggables are suitable for all ages, explains Julie, saying that "we intend to capture teenagers, young adults and everyone else who is caring, romantic, fun and witty." Sure enough, there is a Bearry Match for all individuals.


Soothe Aroma Herbal Pillows (see whole collection)

We all know that pillows are made for comfort. But for healing???

Believe it or not, the Soothe Aroma Herbal Pillows which originated in Philadelphia can cure migraines, backaches,muscle pains, black eyes, toothaches and a lot more conditions, even bruises and burns. Aroma therapy, along with the heat or coldness of the pillow which acts as the hot or cold compress, is the main healing agent of these soft and comfortable pillows. These cushions contain flax seeds, a substance similar to rice granules, which bear the heat and cold when heated or frozen.

So how do you use it?

For a hot herbal pillow, heat the microwave for 1 to 3 minutes, depending on the size of the pillow. Lighter weight products require less heating time (please refer to the Heating Time Chart). If the microwave does not have a turn table, flip the herbal pillow over half way through heating, to avoid burning or getting a hot spot.

For cold compress, place the pillow in the plastic bag, then leave inside the freezer for 1 to 2 hours. The pillow stays cold for approximately 30 minutes.

These herbal pillows are good for 300 uses. To preserve the aroma-therapeutic scent, dampen the pillow before heating, as misting increases the life of herbs by preserving its freshness. To clean, wipe with damp cloth, then lay flat to dry.
