Experience the enchantment this coming August as Trumpets, in cooperation with The Philippine Science High School Batch 81 Foundation, brings you a delightful production adapted from a classic children's tale by C.S. Lewis, "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe!"

A purely Filipino original musical, with book, lyrics, music and musical arrangements by Filipinos, the play tells of an enchanting adventure about a mythical land beyond a wardrobe door, Narnia. Humans come together with fairytale characters - among them a lion named Asian, his nemesis, Jadis, a White Witch and talking fauns, beavers, werewolves and unicorns.

The Philippine restaging comes amid exciting news of the much-loved Lewis masterpiece, soon to be made into a movie, in the wake of record box-office successes last year of the first installments of the children's bestseller Harry Potter series and the similar fantasy epic The Lord of the Rings.
